What is a Portable App?
“A portable app is a computer program that you can carry around with you on a portable device and use on any Windows computer. When your USB flash drive, portable hard drive, iPod or other portable device is plugged in, you have access to your software and personal data just as you would on your own PC. And when you unplug the device, none of your personal data is left behind.”

Call Of Helicopters Redux

The last post was a featured video from the Call Of duty series noting just how many helicopters are seen in COD4: Modern Warfare, in fact there were 147. In this post is another video that points out how many can be seen in the new Call Of Duty: Black Ops game trailer.
In this minute and a half video 27 helicopters were found, thats 0.3 per second. if this is anything to go by get ready to see alot more helicopters in the full game when it is released on the 11th of September 2010.
Perth Apple Store

Apple fans of Western Australia rejoice as the latest Apple Store in Australia will be opening at 8am Saturday June 26th at 790 Hay street, Right in the centre of Perth’s Shopping district. (That’s where Joynt Venture used to be located)
If you are going to check it out be prepared to wait in a line on opening day.
First Contact: Xbox360 PC Wireless Gaming Receiver… Chinese knockoff ;)

A while ago I got an idea to purchase a Xbox360 wireless controller receiver for my PC so that I would be able to connect up my wireless guitar hero drum kit to the computer to use as a MIDI input in FL Studio(read: Digital Drum Kit) So I began my search to find one.
The Receivers are available in local shops like EB Games, but unfortunately they can only be purchased in a pack with a wireless Xbox360 controller, unfortunately not cheap. So I looked for a second hand one, again no luck. Last week I decided to look online to find one, and find one I did, not only that it was also cheap
